Our association with Southern Motorboats over the
last few years has always been a pleasure and an ever
increasing expense!
From our beginnings with the Merry Fisher 695 that
we brought through Tom in Poole to our current baby,
the Prestige 36 which was purchased this year at Southampton,
your companies approach has always been professional,
yet we also feel a part of the ‘Southern family’ as
when we call it’s nice to be recognised and greeted
with first name terms. Well done Martin, your sales
team are well trained in answering all our questions
whenever we phone in, and they also happen to make
an excellent cup of coffee if we call into the office.
(The biscuits always help too).
Nothing is too much trouble for your staff to deal
with and of course with a new boat snags always arise
but are generally dealt with promptly and most importantly
your sales team do try to keep us informed at all times.
We
have no hesitation in recommending Southern to anyone,
whether it is a new or used boat.

the purchase of our boat. We are thankful we chose

As you know we have had a few hicc-ups along the way. Your support and that of
Jeaneau have helped us to achieve what to so many
is just a dream. Furthermore, the professionalism
and after sales care in dealing with our queries
and problems is as good if not better than any I
have encountered throughout 40 years in business.
We
are more than happy to recommend Southern Motorboats
and Jeanneau. As time goes on we continue to be amazed
and delighted at how well the 46 performs and seems
to fit around us keeping us safe and snug, yet with
space, our confidence grows every time we go out in
her.

Having recently purchased a new
Prestige 32 we would like to communicate to you how
impressed we have been with the service we have received
from your team. Whilst everyone has been most helpful
and friendly we would like to mention three people
in particular. Tim was our first contact at Southern
Motorboats and he has looked after us exceptionally
well throughout the process. Tim could always be relied
upon to respond to any query we put forward and his
organisation in getting everything ready at the handover
was excellent.
Prior to this purchase, our experience of after sales
at two other dealerships had not been good. However,
Lisa has done a brilliant job both at handover and
since in keeping us regularly informed on warranty
issued responding to our emails and getting warranty
work completed on time in what has been pretty awful
weather.
Last but not least we have been very impressed by
the way Martin has continued to monitor our satisfaction
with our new boat. Again our previous experience in
this area had not been good, managers had either shown
lack of interest after purchase or handed the problem
to someone else. Martin has always found time to discuss
any issues with us and we are most grateful for the
interest he continues to show.
Having a new boat in the marina has already attracted
a number of visits from our friends and we would have
no hesitation in passing on our experience of dealing
with Southern Motor Boats to them which in some cases
we have already done so. Would you please pass our
thanks to Tim, Lisa and Martin as well as the rest
of the team for the friendly and helpful manner
they have shown us over the last few weeks.

Dear Martin, We thought we would send you this
short letter to thank you, Lisa and all other members
of your staff who assisted in our purchase of the Prestige
32 (Miss MacCash). As you are aware this is the
first real boat we have purchased and to be honest,
you and your team could not have made it easier for
us.
From the first day we met you and Lisa at the London
Boat Show everything has slotted into place like a
jigsaw puzzle. We appreciate that we didn’t
give you much time to get things organised for the
dates we had given you and I’m sure it made your
co-ordination much more difficult, but you did it and
everything was done without a hitch. I would
also like to thank you for sorting the one problem
I did have with the Raymarine in such a short time.
